Chasin' Satisfaction starts off at the end of the story, reeling you back to the beginning where all the drama starts. As the story unfolds, the desire to know what happens next will have you chasing page after page. Mr. Burkett's novel runs through the life of power investment banker, Miko, and her architect husband, Julian. There is a major disconnect between the two as Miko is clearly the breadwinner of the marriage. As the marriage sours Miko looks outside of the relationship for her satisfaction, while Julian tries his damnedest to be the man Miko always dreamed of. The plot can get a little hairy at times with miscellaneous characters introduced without purpose and there are a few spots in need of a little editorial tweaking, but over all this is a simple, but explosive quick-read. 1. What did you like best about this book? 2. What did you dislike about this book? 3. How can the author improve this book? I think this book would read a lot smoother without some of the extra characters thrown in the mix. "I was blown away with Burkett's style of writing and I look foward to
reading more from him." The views expressed in published reviews are solely those of the reviewer. The Urban Book Source cannot be held accountable.
