On a side note. All this European culture has been chucked out the window. At least in the West. Sacrificed on the altar of political correctness and mass immigration. I hope the Russians and Chinese fare better.
Fantastic music – great overall performance by all involved! Yes, the girl in the maroon dress did a fine job too. I don’t see why one person should get all the credit for such a great 37 minutes of music, though. Ever think about that: )? Clapping only for one person kind of spoils concerts for me. A true artist shouldn’t be comfortable with receiving all the acclaim – sharing is caring.
The name is actually SAYAKA SHOJI (Tokyo 1983), she is the beautiful virtuoso of the violin playing with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra (Russia) conducted by Yuri Temirkanov (Russia 1938) during the 2008 edition of the NHK Classical Music Festivals, (Tokyo NHK Hall). In this video, she plays the “Joachim” Stradivarius violin made in 1715.
